Ashby - November 6, 2018 State Election Information

DEADLINE TO REGISTER TO VOTE For Ashby residents not already registered to vote in Ashby: The last day to register to vote at the November 6th State Election is Wednesday, October 17, 2018. The Town Clerk's office will be open on October 17 from 8am-8pm.

EARLY VOTING Early voting for the November 6, 2018 State Election will be available to all Massachusetts voters. No excuse is required. You may cast your early ballot in person at the Town Clerk’s office Monday-Friday 8am-12pm and Wednesday evenings 5-8pm October 22 through November 1.

ABSENTEE BALLOTS If you will be out of town on Election Day, you have a disability, or you have a religious belief which prevents you from going to your polling place, you qualify for an absentee ballot. Absentee ballots are available until noon on November 5th. To request an application for yourself or a relative, please call the Town Clerk’s office (978) 386-2424 ext.10. You may also mail an Absentee Ballot Request Form to the Town Clerk’s office, 895 Main Street, Ashby MA 01431 Ballots can be mailed back but must arrive by the close of the polls on Election Day.
